We’re looking for a Sales Director to represent our brand and services to businesses all across Canada. Not only will you be committed to helping merchants upgrade their payment system, you will also be responsible for training new sales reps that will become part of your team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify potential clients through streams of networking, cold-calling, and referral generation
  • Properly manage lead prospect opportunities
  • Conduct needs assessments for merchants
  • Negotiate the best possible deal for both parties
  • Train and supervise new hires
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
  • Build long-term relationship with clients based on reliability and trust
  • Promote a positive work culture
  • Manage your merchant portfolio with complete professionalism and timeliness
  • Attend weekly team meetings on time and in proper business attire
  • Provide regular detailed sales reports
  • Establish daily, weekly and monthly targets that will measure individual and group performance

Key Requirements

  • Six months of sales (preferred)
  • One year in outside sales (preferred)
  • Ability to self-source business opportunities using techniques such as in-person prospecting, cold-calling and networking
  • Leadership skills and experience in training
  • Professional verbal, written and presentation skills in English or French (any other languages are also welcome)
  • Rapid problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Strong, disciplined work ethic towards daily targets
  • Flexible to adapt to changes and challenges of the business world
  • Highly motivated and results-driven mindset
  • Experience in merchant services/payment processing (an asset)
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) experience (an asset)
  • Driver’s license (preferred)

Income and Schedule:

  • Full-time position
  • Lucrative compensation plan with no cap (commission-based only)
